Through the years, eBay has become a truly global community, but we still know the most important community is the place where you live, laugh, work, and play.
So we thought we'd give you a chance to help out your local community by encouraging you and your neighbors to come together through eBay. We hope your community not only became closer, but that you could help a nonprofit of your choice with a $10,000 grant.
The second reason we did this, was to take a census of sorts. We thought it would be fun for you to see the who, what, and where of eBay transactions. Things like which community sold the most widgets, and who bought the most doodads.
And finally, there's always something fun about a little competition. Hopefully, those folks across town didn’t beat your community.
